Skate Boy

Skating is a cool extreme sport, but falling from your skateboard, especially when you want to do some awesome tricks, can be pretty painful. Luckily, when you play Skate Boy, you will not feel any pain, so be prepared to practice!

This game is played, using your computer keyboard. With the arrow keys, you will make your skater move, while the keys from 1 to 9 are designed for special tricks. One key you want to get familiar with pretty soon is the space bar that helps the skater jump over obstacles. As the game progresses, you will see that there are plenty of obstacles that get in your way with some looking more dangerous than others, like toxic waste barrels for example.

You will be awarded points each time you do a trick. The more difficult the trick, the more points you will score. While the game may seem simple, it will take you some time to master it, but this is what makes it a real challenge. It is important to keep your skater glued to his skateboard, because each time you make him fall, you will lose points.

This game is designed in Flash, and its graphics are pretty quirky. The skater moves quite naturally for an animated character and he can do some really nice tricks, once you get a hang of how the game is played. If you know what a heelflip is, or you want to learn about it, then you can start practicing with Skate Boy. Do not worry; even if you make him fall too many times, he will get up, ready to start again, without any signs of pain.

You will also have a timer that indicates how much time you have left for your tricks. Three minutes are offered to prove yourself as a skater, and, in the end, you will see how many points you have succeeded to gather.
