Tic Tac Toe

Do you still remember how Tic Tac Toe is played? You only have to place your Xs on the board, and wait for the other to complete the remaining squares with zeros. This must be one of the simplest games ever invented, but also one that children and grownups still love playing.

Tic Tac Toe is just the online version of the pen and paper game, so, if you know the basic rules, you need nothing else but to start playing. There are two levels of difficulty you can try, Easy and Hard. So, if you want to get a bit of warm up, start with the easy level, until you beat the computer too many times, where you may also wish to play it the hard way.

The 3x3 grid is empty at the beginning of the game. The computer is quite courteous where it lets you play with X. If you manage to place three Xs on a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, you win. If the computer succeeds in doing that before you do, then it is a loss for you.

Although it is considered to be a game that appeals mostly to children, Tic Tac Toe is played by adults, as well. Its appeal has not worn with time, because of the various combinations that can happen on the board at any given time. In this case, the computer proves to be a tough player, and it will not be easy to fool the machine into falling into one of your well crafted traps.

Tic Tac Toe is a very old game, with proof of its existence dating from the times of Ancient Rome. It seems that even our predecessors enjoyed playing this game, so no one will hold it against you, if you still want to play a round of Tic Tac Toe.
